For the spiritually confused there is a little on-line quiz that can match you up with the religion that most reflects your current state of being. While a little tongue in cheek it is kind of interesting.  I tried it last week and then again today. Not much change really. Maybe a little less religious than last week considering the percentage drops in a few areas. Maybe I’m going to put this data into a spreadsheet and track my  spiritual statistics from now on. Or maybe that was a joke. I met some Quakers once in a situation of social activism and got along well with them. They reminded me of Buddhists without a Buddha.

1. Unitarian Universalism (100%) 2. Liberal Quakers (95%) 3. Theravada Buddhism (89%) 4. Secular Humanism (86%) 5. Neo-Pagan (85%) 6. Taoism (83%) 7. Mahayana Buddhism (82%) 8. New Age (79%) 9. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (74%) 10. Jainism (62%)

OK I did it again 2 weeks later (Nov.11) and this is what came up. Talk about your shifting sands of ego identity.

1. Theravada Buddhism (100%) 2. Unitarian Universalism (95%) 3. Liberal Quakers (90%) 4. Mahayana Buddhism (86%) 5. Taoism (84%) 6. Secular Humanism (84%) 7. Neo-Pagan (76%) 8. New Age (73%) 9. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (71%) 10. Jainism (69%)

So I have no idea what this means. It’s just for fun since it would not likely be exactly the same over a long time. Life does have an influence on beliefs and strengths of beliefs whether we would like to believe that or not.
